Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and organized efficiently to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Prior hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with care and efficiency
- Sort, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest laundry items according to established standards
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned to meet hygiene and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines and workspaces
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions promptly
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for cleaning chemicals and machinery
- Support other cleaning duties around the hotel as needed to ensure a pristine environment for guests
Experience
- Prior hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Basic knowledge of laundry processes and cleaning procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Willingness to learn new skills related to laundry operations and cleaning practices
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
