Biagio’s Kitchen + Catering is looking for a dependable and hardworking Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. This role focuses on preparing fresh pasta, pizza dough, and house-made desserts while supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, values consistency, and takes pride in quality preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh pasta according to recipes and production needs
- Mix, ferment, portion, and manage pizza dough batches
- Prepare desserts and dessert components
- Maintain prep lists and daily production schedules
- Portion, label, and organize ingredients following food safety standards
- Keep prep stations clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist kitchen staff during service as needed
- Follow all sanitation and kitchen safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or prep cook experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available for morning/daytime shifts
