The Opportunity: The Financial Planning Analyst will assist with collection, entry, verification, review and access of data associated with the college's budgeting and financial planning process. The position acts as a resource to Financial Planning and assists with areas of budgeting and planning within the Financial Services and Financial Planning departments.
What you need to be successful:
- 3-year diploma/degree in Accounting or a related field
- minimum three-years' demonstrated accounting experience analyzing financial data
- experience preparing working papers, and producing reports
- experience in budgeting and forecasting is a requirement
- excellent working knowledge of a computerized financial system and Microsoft Office suite
- PeopleSoft is considered an asset
- advanced customer service skills
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and within a team setting
This is a full-time support staff position, 35 hours/week, Payband F - $32.10 - $37.04 (starting rate $32.10).
