Stable and secure employment with no evening shifts or Sundays! This position can be full time or part time with some flexibility that can be discussed during interview. All day shifts starting between 8am and 10am and ending no later than 5;30 PM. Excellent working conditions that allow our staff to work mostly independent and have lots of freedom to explore and create new culinary experiences. We are a small independent European style market (total staff of 5) that offers our customers the best in Italian deli , sandwiches, groceries, sauces, and salads and more!. This is perfect job for someone who is a recent graduate of TRU's culinary program and looking for an opportunity to practice what they learned. Would also be a perfect opportunity for someone who wants to work in a well organized and low stress environment that offers only day shifts and no Sunday shifts. Saturday shifts are rotational.
Our preferred applicant is a creative individual who enjoys being in customer service. Duties include, but not limited to: preparing sandwiches, general clerk duties, cutting and wrapping deli meats and cheese, light food prep. and more. Experience and/or post secondary education in culinary arts would be an asset with emphasis on menu creation, recipe execution, leadership experience, and certification from accredited institution in culinary arts. Lots of task variety and the opportunity to work independently are some of the benefits of this opportunity.
