We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and enthusiastic Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys working with young people and their families and values collaboration, clinical excellence, and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and their families, addressing a range of emotional, behavioural, social, and developmental concerns. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality care and fostering positive outcomes for clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psycho-educational and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs
- Provide evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, physicians, and other professionals as appropriate
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Participate in case consultation and team meetings
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in all aspects of practice
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution preferred
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (or eligible for registration in Ontario)
- Authorized for autonomous practice or working toward autonomous practice under appropriate supervision
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Training and experience in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, emotion-focused, attachment-based, or other relevant modalities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
