Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your primary focus will be on creating a positive shopping experience, promoting products, and ensuring smooth store operations. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or technology sales are highly valued to assist a diverse customer base and enhance sales opportunities.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and card transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support when needed
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays
- Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Ensure accurate cash handling and balance registers at shift end
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support store cleanliness and organization to create an inviting shopping environment
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills required
- Strong communication skills, time management, phone etiquette, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with upselling techniques and customer engagement strategies will enhance performance
Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
