Job Summary
The Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within the shop environment, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively. This position requires a strong understanding of construction requirements for project sites, supply chain management, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will possess experience with inventory software, and has an understanding of construction equipment, materials and tools.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities to ensure optimal productivity and quality standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee the procurement of materials necessary for production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Load and unload all required materials and tools for project sites
- Ensure all tools and materials are working and in good order
- Train, mentor, and evaluate shop personnel to foster a high-performance work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a construction environment
- Has a strong knowledge of construction tools and equipment
