Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service. Experience in hotel or custodial services is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hospitality at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, tools, and safety protocols is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
