Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Full-time Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and customer service are paramount. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth office workflow.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and handling phone system with professionalism and courtesy
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and all computer software
- Assist with filing, document proofreading, and organizational tasks to ensure efficient office operations
- Support customer service efforts by responding to inquiries and providing support via phone or email
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and maintain calendars for staff members
- Handle administrative tasks such as correspondence via Alberta Transportation Policies and Procedures
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained properly
Experience
- Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in office setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks is highly desirable
- Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in proofreading and document management
- Experience with front desk responsibilities, phone system and customer service roles is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and provide exceptional customer support
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
