We are seeking an experienced carpenter with existing field experience, knowledge in structural layouts, framing and finishing work. The ideal candidate is highly detail- oriented, possess a high level of tool proficiency and prioritizes site safety
Key Responsibilities
- Framing & Structural Execution: Read and interpret blueprints/layouts accurately to construct wood framing, walls, roofs and sub floors
- Finish Carpentry: Installation of trim, molding, baseboard, doors, windows, A knowledge in cabinet/countertop install is a bonus
- Renovations & Repairs: Ability to complete demolitions safely, assess structural issues and perform structural or aesthetic modifications
- Tool & Equipment Operation: Ability to confidently operate a wide array of power tools
- Site management & Collaboration: Work effectively alongside project manager, apprentices and other sub-trades while maintaining strict adherence to building codes and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of (1-5) years of professional carpentry experience. proven ability to accurately measure, cut, shape and join wood, composite materials and drywall
- Credentials: Journeyman status or trade certification is a major asset, but equivalent field experience is heavily valued
- Requirements: Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be physically capable of heavy lifting, bending, and working at heights or in varied weather conditions.
Schedule:
- 8 -10hour shifts - Monday to Friday
- Occasional overtime depending on project timelines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour

- Williams Lake, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
