Now Hiring: Mover/Packers/Drivers
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and physically capable Crew Lead Movers and Experienced Drivers to join our growing team. This is a casual, as-needed position with varying hours, ideal for someone looking for flexible work. More hours are anticipated as we head into the busy summer season.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture and household items
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage
- Operate moving trucks and lead a team.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients to understand their needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area before, during, and after moves
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent injuries and accidents
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete jobs on time
Requirements & Qualifications
- Reliable transportation within HRM
- Criminal Record Check (required)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects safely
- Strong physical stamina for demanding, fast-paced work
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Moving experience and experience leading a team is an asset.
- Previous experience driving large vehicles - 15, 20 and 26 foot moving trucks is an asset.
