Currently, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Legal Assistant/Paralegal who demonstrates professionalism when dealing with our valued clients to join our team..
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience as a Legal Asssistant.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
1. Communicating and meeting with Clients as required and approved by lawyer, booking appointments, drafting correspondence and/or documents as required and requested, drafting and filing legal documents with instructions and approval of lawyers;
2. Maintain clean up to date electronic and physical files, diarize Lawyers calendars and billable time, entering mileage and other expenditures when lawyers attend out of office appointments, such as JCC, Mediation and other Court appearances.
3. Answering overflow incoming calls, booking consults and appointments, greeting clients, preparing consult meeting documents, emailing clients, processing payments, meeting with clients, opening files, file closing.
4. Scanning, printing and copying documents as required, building, binders in preparation of hearing or mediation, opening and closing files, bank runs or acting as a courier agent for filing documents;
5. General office related tasks.
