Reporting to Public Health Managers, the Public Health Intervention Specialist advances evidence-informed and equity-focused public health priorities through the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs, interventions, and communications. Working collaboratively with internal teams, community partners, and priority populations, this role translates population health data, research, and surveillance into timely, accessible, and culturally relevant actions that strengthen health outcomes across Niagara. It contributes to research and knowledge generation through literature reviews and contributes to program evaluations that measure progress and guide continuous improvement. Through strategic communication, outreach, and professional development, this role fosters inclusive participation and supports sustained, coordinated public health action.
