Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
Independent Contractor | Two Days per Week | Victoria, BC
Start Date: August 2026 (Flexible for the Right Candidate)
Help People Create Lasting Change
At Pegasus Recovery Solutions, we believe recovery is about much more than stopping the use of alcohol or other substances. Recovery is about helping people build healthier, more meaningful lives.
We are a specialized addictions counselling practice providing evidence based counselling to individuals, couples, and families affected by substance use. We support people who are questioning their relationship with alcohol or other substances, those who are considering change, people in early or established recovery, and the family members and loved ones whose lives have also been affected. Our role is to meet people where they are and help them move toward the life they want.
We are seeking a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days per week. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive practice.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a Registered Clinical Counsellor who enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships and providing thoughtful, evidence based counselling to adults.
Our clients present with a range of concerns related to substance use, including alcohol and drug use, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and concurrent mental health concerns. Some are sober curious, some are actively working toward change, some are newly abstinent, and others are maintaining long term recovery. We also work with partners, family members, and couples who are navigating the impact of substance use.
The successful candidate is comfortable working with clients at all stages of change and is committed to providing compassionate, client centred care. Experience working with substance use, trauma, concurrent disorders, and couples is highly valued. Lived experience in recovery is welcomed and considered an asset.
