This role is ideal for EITs who want diverse technical experience, field exposure, and the chance to grow quickly within a collaborative team.
What You’ll Do:
- Create detailed CAD drawings, schematics, layouts, and schedules for client projects.
- Perform engineering calculations including PSV (block flow, fire case), stress analysis, amperage, volt drop, short circuit, scaling, and more to ensure designs meet specifications.
- Prepare and review design and construction documents such as; DBMs, SOWs, Construction Work Packages, bid documents, and more.
- Develop, populate and maintain Excel workbooks for safety matrices/shutdown keys, instrument I/O lists, load lists, fugitive emissions study, and engineering calculations to document detailed engineering.
- Attend site visits to info gather, collaborate with field personnel, complete markups, inspect installations, witness FAT/CAT, assist with commissioning, witness relay testing, and participate in walk-downs.
- Develop control panel schematics, network diagrams, control narrative, write PLC and HMI programs, SCADA, field commissioning for process and safety automation systems.
- Research and interpret product manuals to ensure proper use and integration of equipment and devices into project designs.
- Respond to RFIs and clarifications from contractors to keep construction on track.
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, solving technical challenges in the office and seeing your work come to life on-site.
Who Succeeds at JPAK:
- Engineering degree in Electrical, Process or related discipline
- Eligible for EIT membership with APEGA, EGBC, or APEGS
- New graduates or EITs with 1–3 years of experience are encouraged to apply
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
- Comfortable asking questions and open to feedback

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
