Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Window Cleaner/Pressure Washer to join our seasonal team as a Drone Operations Assistant. You’ll work alongside our certified drone pilot to support window and facade cleaning jobs. This is a hands-on role involving equipment setup, job site preparation, and basic exterior cleaning. No drone experience is needed- just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility due to it being weather dependent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist drone pilot with site setup, safety cones, and equipment prep
- Perform thorough lower-level windows, balconies and surface cleaning with pressure washing pole and appropriate tools
- Carry, lift, and organize hoses, cables, and tools
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at each site
- Load and unload equipment at the start and end of each shift
- Provide professional and courteous on-site support to team and clients
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating professionally with clients during each job.
- Manage time effectively to complete jobs within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing all cleaning duties.
- Conduct pre-flight checks and assess potential hazards before each flight.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious
- Willingness to work at heights (ground-based only – no ladders/scaffolding)
- Available to work weekdays with flexible start/end times depending on site
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to company policies regarding safety and quality.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience in window cleaning, construction, or general labour
- Working at Heights or WHMIS training
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Interest in drone operations or building maintenance
