As a Senior Data & Trust Partner for TELUS Health you will act as a trusted advisor, consultant, change agent, and coach, building collaborative relationships with TELUS leaders. You will play a critical role in TELUS’ technology innovation, as you support strategic business needs. This role will also be instrumental in building, implementing, and managing new data and trust programs and initiatives from the ground up, covering a broad spectrum of privacy, data governance, and responsible AI functions to meet TELUS' evolving needs.
Your daily work involves engaging in conversations with the business you support, offering creative solutions and influencing leaders to help them create sustainable, winning programs. You will manage change, enhance teams, and foster an engaged and inspiring workplace. You are resilient, pragmatic, astute, and collaborative. What you’ll do
Partner and build effective relationships with TELUS leaders to address data and trust challenges, organizational design, and data and trust operational needs - offering expert advice, creative solutions, and new processes where required
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, expanding leadership capability, challenging the status quo, and ensuring data and trust strategies align with TELUS’ business goals, values, and its arms-length relationship with TELUS
Liaise with DTO subject matter experts to adapt shared programs, provide feedback, and design TELUS-specific initiatives when needed
Work in partnership with TELUS’ senior leadership to ensure optimal data and trust solutions are in place to meet dynamic business needs and align with TELUS values and business objectives
Design and adapt data and trust policies and programs to meet TELUS Health’s unique needs - such as privacy by design, data lifecycle management, and ethical AI development - while ensuring alignment with TELUS’ broader frameworks and philosophies
Coach and develop leaders while facilitating leadership programs that reflect TELUS’ culture and strengthen team performance and experience in data and trust
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating ROI of data and trust programs, integrating TELUS offerings where appropriate, and creating TELUS-specific initiatives that enhance employee experience
Develop communications strategies and create content that engage employees, leaders, and stakeholders on data and trust matters
Ensure fairness, compliance, and autonomy in all data and trust programs—aligning with TELUS governance standards where applicable
Qualifications
What you bring
Exceptional communicator and influencer with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and deliver clear, compelling presentations
Versatile and collaborative, balancing creativity, execution, and teamwork across different levels and functions
Proven operator, experienced in managing day-to-day data and trust operations while designing and executing innovative solutions - often from a blank slate
Skilled project leader, with a strong track record of managing multiple complex initiatives from design through implementation.
Change navigator, adept at guiding leaders and teams through transformation, ambiguity, and fast-paced change with data-driven recommendations
Problem-solver and continuous learner, able to tackle complex issues even without all the answers, while proactively building new frameworks and programs
5+ years in progressive data and trust partner or related roles with success building and implementing privacy, data governance, and responsible AI programs
Relevant certifications in privacy (e.g., CIPP), data governance (e.g., CDMP), or AI ethics are preferred assets
Great-to-haves
French/English bilingual capabilities are a highly valued asset for this role
Previous experience working in the healthcare sector is an asset, in particular with digital health technology
Legal background/experience is an asset
Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Salary Range: $86,000-$136,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
