Cybersecurity Account Executive
Our client is a Canadian cybersecurity consulting, advisory, and technology firm headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario. The team consists of geographically diverse cybersecurity professionals dedicated to solving complex security challenges for organizations across North America.
Client will provide a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity services and solutions, supported by proprietary security platform, DarkSense. Customers span across industries including Healthcare, Financial Services, Government, and Critical Infrastructure.
Position Overview
Client are seeking a driven and results-oriented Cybersecurity Account Executive to join a growing sales team.
The ideal candidate will have experience selling cybersecurity solutions, managed security services, or IT services and possess a strong understanding of today's cybersecurity landscape. This role will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our cybersecurity services portfolio and DarkSense platform.
You will work closely with cybersecurity leaders, IT executives, and business decision-makers to position tailored security solutions that address evolving business and security challenges.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Execution
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound business development activities.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market organizations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution.
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted advisor relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client business objectives, cybersecurity risks, and compliance requirements.
- Develop long-term account growth strategies and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Drive account expansion within existing customer relationships.
Solution Selling
- Present and position cybersecurity services and solutions including:
- Penetration Testing
- Red Team Assessments
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Risk Assessments
- Managed Security Services (MSSP)
- SOC/SIEM Solutions
- Endpoint Security
- Identity & Access Management
- Cloud Security
- Compliance and Governance Services
- Articulate the business value and ROI of cybersecurity investments to executive stakeholders.
Vendor & Partner Engagement
- Develop strong relationships with strategic technology partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with vendor sales teams to identify and pursue joint opportunities.
- Participate in regular pipeline reviews and go-to-market activities with partners such as:
- CrowdStrike
- Palo Alto Networks
- Netskope
- Proofpoint
- Microsoft Security
- Other leading cybersecurity vendors
Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Conduct executive presentations, discovery meetings, and solution demonstrations.
- Collaborate with technical and presales teams on proposals, RFP responses, and solution design.
- Develop customized business cases and value-driven proposals.
Market Intelligence
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, compliance frameworks, and industry developments.
- Identify new market opportunities and target industries.
- Provide market feedback to leadership and contribute to sales strategy development.
CRM & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts within CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zoho.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasting reports to leadership.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, managed services, IT solutions, SaaS, or technology services.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and executive-level client relationships.
- Experience selling MSSP, SIEM, SOC, security consulting, or cybersecurity software solutions is highly preferred.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Pay: $120,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
