Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles within local routes to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conducting pre trip and post trip inspections and notify defects accordingly.
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying delivery accuracy
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and other
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Valid AZ license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of freight handling and securement procedures
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and perform basic automotive repairs is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious attitude, and excellent time management skills
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is advantageous
- Ability to work independently, follow routes efficiently, and maintain professionalism at all times
Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
