What Will You Do?
We are seeking an experienced Warranty Coordinator to join our team, supporting diesel locomotives and coaches in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. The role focuses on warranty management, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement to ensure high customer satisfaction and fleet reliability. Strong electrical skills and a hands-on approach are key to success.

Conduct root cause investigations for warranty issues and implement corrective actions with relevant stakeholders

Provide rectification plans to the customer using schematics, manuals, and technical data

Coordinate with vendors on warranty issues, including follow-ups, RCA, and site visits

Collaborate with the team and customer to gather and analyze warranty-related data

Review and report on CMMIS warranty work orders for management and the customer

Track and manage warranty spare parts and RMA status with material and logistics teams

Align work orders, hours, and completed work with the Technical Advisor and Line Manager

Communicate warranty topics clearly with the customer and internal teams

Follow company and industry safety rules and procedures

Process failed parts and manage RMA activities
What Will You Need to Succeed?

Post-secondary education or a technical diploma in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams, drawings, and schematics

Strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills on locomotives or coaches
-
Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions

Proficient in using laptops and subsystem software to troubleshoot onboard systems
-
Ability to understand contract language

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with Technical Advisors, Material Management, and customers
-
Ability to prepare clear reports for the Site Lead and Warranty Manager
-
Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing

Field service or operations experience in the railroad industry is considered an asset
Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $65,800 CAD - 75,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on Company performance metrics.
