Ocean Star Ltd. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and results-driven Customer Service & Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while supporting sales activities, processing orders, responding to inquiries, and building strong customer relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, identifying sales opportunities, and contributing to the continued growth of the company.
This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with customers, and is passionate about delivering excellent service. Knowledge of the food industry is required to effectively support customer needs and product inquiries.
The position is subject to a three (3) month probationary period, during which performance, attendance, and overall suitability for the role will be assessed. Following successful completion of the probationary period, employees will be eligible for a compensation review and consideration for a wage increase based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Provide information about products and services and assist customers with their needs.
- Process orders, returns, and customer requests accurately and efficiently.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Generate and follow up on sales leads.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the company's CRM system.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction and sales goals.
- Always maintain a professional and positive company image.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of food industry is required
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
