Job Overview:
Conlon Motorsports Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Hand to support daily dealership operations. This is a hands-on role focused on lot organization, unit movement, seasonal maintenance, and general dealership support. As an authorized Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and CFMOTO dealership, maintaining a safe, organized, and professional environment is critical to our operation.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating equipment, working outdoors, and stepping in wherever support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move units, crates, and materials throughout the lot, showroom, and shop
- Move and stage ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and snowmobiles as required
- Perform snow removal and seasonal lot maintenance to keep walkways and display areas clear and safe
- Assist with general lot upkeep including cleaning, organizing, and unit staging
- Support light detailing tasks such as washing and preparing units for display or delivery
- Assist with receiving shipments, unloading deliveries, and organizing inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized shop, service area, and outdoor lot
- Provide support to all departments as an extra set of hands during busy periods
- Follow all safety procedures and dealership policies at all times
Qualifications & Requirements
- Forklift experience is required
- Previous dealership, warehouse, or shop experience is an asset
- Comfortable performing physical work and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a dependable, team-first attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
- Valid driver’s license required
