Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Supervised ABA Instructor Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality behavioral therapy services to children with developmental needs. Prior experience in special education, patient care, or related fields is a plus.
Duties
- Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs under supervision, following established treatment plans.
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors accurately to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.
- Support children during therapy sessions, promoting engagement, communication, and skill development in a nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians and team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Communicate effectively with families regarding progress updates and behavioral strategies.
Skills and Requirement
- Experience working with children, especially those with developmental or behavioral challenges.
- Degree or certificate in autism and behaviour science, psychology, social work, or any related field.
- Knowledge of special education principles and behaviour management techniques.
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to supporting children’s needs.
- Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress and behavior patterns.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging families effectively.
- Have drivers license and personal vehicle
- Willing to travel to client homes
- Willing to work at both Kitchener and Cambridge location
