We are a growing art school in Vancouver seeking a creative and organized Part-Time Marketing Specialist to help promote our programs and student community to local families and students, particularly within the Chinese community.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both Western and Chinese social media platforms, enjoys storytelling through content, and can communicate effectively in both English and Chinese.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Hours: 12–15 hours per week
- Compensation: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
- Manage and create content for social media platforms including:
- WeChat
- Rednote (Xiaohongshu)
- Instagram
- Transform school materials, events, student activities, and course information into engaging marketing content
- Write and edit content in both English and Chinese
- Help promote student recruitment and highlight the school’s unique artistic programs and community
- Select and refine AI-generated content when appropriate, using strong judgment and marketing sense
- Coordinate with the school team to maintain consistent branding and messaging
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with Chinese social media platforms and digital marketing trends
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Experience in marketing, social media, education, arts, or community engagement is an asset
- Experience using AI tools for content creation is welcomed
