BMI Ltd. is based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia and we are currently hiring multiple trades including Journeyperson and 4th year Apprentice Electrician.
Bridgewater is a great community to live in with lots of outdoor activities to participate in year-round. Living in a small community provides a sense of family and support.
What Skills do you need to be Successful in this Role?
- Install and maintain equipment.
- Layout track, install and pull wires.
- EMT bending and installation.
- General repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Working from heights.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
- The ability to work well in a team and take direction from senior staff.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
What Qualifications and Specialization are required?
- 4th year apprentice, or Journeyperson.
- Experience in a production / manufacturing facility is considered an asset.
What are the Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities required?
- Indoor Manufacturing Environment.
- Working at heights.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Attention to detail.
- Handling weight up to 50lbs occasionally.
What is the Work Schedule and Salary Rate?
- Full time, Contract, Permanent.
- Monday to Friday, day shift, occasional weekend, and overtime and shutdown work.
- Salary: $25.70 - $33.71 per hour.
