This position requires an individual with a deep understanding of cellphones, including their components, motherboards, and the intricacies of repairing them. If you have additional expertise in laptops and gaming consoles, it will be considered a significant asset. Our ideal candidate is someone passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mobile devices, focusing on smartphones, with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to hardware and software.
- Disassemble and reassemble mobile devices to assess and fix any damages or malfunctions.
- Provide detailed estimates of repair costs and communicate effectively with customers about the repair process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest mobile technology, repair techniques, and tools.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools, ensuring that necessary repair materials are always available.
- If capable, extend repair services to laptops and gaming consoles, addressing a wide range of technical issues.
- Ensure all repairs meet our quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in mobile device repair, with a strong preference for candidates who also have experience repairing laptops and gaming consoles.
- Extensive knowledge of cellphone components, motherboards, and the ability to perform intricate repairs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or mobile repair is a plus.
