We are looking for an Auto Body Prepper / Disassembly & Assembly Technician to join our dealership team. The candidate will be responsible for removing vehicle parts before repairs, preparing parts for the body technician and painter, and reassembling the vehicle after repairs are completed. This position starts as part-time / casual, with the possibility of becoming full-time for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Remove and reinstall vehicle parts and panels
- Prepare parts and surfaces for body and paint work
- Sanding, masking, and cleaning when needed
- Organize and store removed parts properly
- Assist body technician and painter during repairs
- Keep the work area clean and organized
- Follow safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in auto body prep or mechanical work is an asset
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and good organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and motivated to learn
