JOB TITLE: Barber – Chair Rental
LOCATION: Hairlab X Barbershop, Mississauga, ON
CHAIR RENT: $500 per week
POSITION TYPE: Self-employed chair renter / independent business operator
Hairlab X Barbershop is looking for experienced, professional barbers ready to operate independently from a modern, established shop in the Heartland area of Mississauga.
This is a chair-rental opportunity—not an hourly wage or commission position. You pay a fixed rental fee of $500 per week and keep 100% of your service revenue and tips.

SERVICES OFFERED:
Our barbers focus on men’s and boys’ haircuts, fades, scissor cuts, beard services, hot towel shaves, dark hair colour and beard colour. We do not offer bleaching, perms or women’s chemical services through the barber-chair rental program.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong barbering skills and professional experience
- Confidence with fades, scissor work, beard shaping and modern men’s styles
- An existing clientele or a serious plan to build one
- Reliable, clean, punctual and professional
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Willingness to promote yourself and Hairlab X on social media
- Ability to provide your own clippers, trimmers, blades, neck strips, gloves, plain-black capes and personal working supplies
- Willingness to follow shop cleanliness, booking and professional-conduct standards
- Ability to obtain appropriate professional liability insurance
Barbers are responsible for developing and maintaining their own clientele. Walk-ins may be available but are not guaranteed.
