Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Case Worker to support individuals and families in securing and maintaining safe, stable housing. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt efficiently to new situations. This role involves providing case management services, conducting interviews, and coordinating resources to promote housing stability and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough intake interviews with clients to assess their needs and develop individualized support plans
- Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation of progress
- Assist clients in navigating housing options, applications, and related services
- Connect clients with referrals
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Collaborate with community organizations, service providers, and government agencies to coordinate resources and support services
- Prepare presentations or reports on client progress and program outcomes for internal or external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and data entry protocols
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Assist clients in development of financials plans/budgets, and resumes
- Provide assistance to elders as needed to help them maintain living at home
Requirements
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in case management, supervising, or leadership roles within social services or related fields
- Strong computer skills, including operation of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry systems
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Experience in interviewing clients and providing training & development support
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of community resources related to housing assistance and other community supports is a plus

Hours of Work: 35 per week
Hourly Wage: $25 per hour
