We are a busy ramen shop located near McMaster University, known for our authentic flavors, welcoming atmosphere, and dedication to quality. We’re looking for a full-time kitchen staff member to join our team and grow with us.
Position: Full-Time Kitchen Staff
Location: Hamilton, ON
Availability: Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food prep, cooking, and plating
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following health & safety standards
- Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
- Support chefs and team members with back-of-house tasks
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency
- Assist with inventory, receiving, and storing supplies
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred (ramen/Asian cuisine experience is an asset but not required)
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks
- Food Handler’s Certificate is an asset
