Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our team. This role involves installing various types of signage at commercial and retail locations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and quality in every project. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in sign installation or construction is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in signage installation while contributing to the visual branding of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install signs on various surfaces including walls, poles, and buildings according to project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation processes
- Measure and align signage accurately to ensure proper placement and appearance
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions
- Ensure all signage is securely mounted and complies with safety standards and local regulations
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment used in installation tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean work environment during and after installations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in sign installation, construction, or related trades is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy signs and equipment (up to 50 pounds)
- Valid driver’s license is preferred; reliable transportation is necessary for job site access
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different installation scenarios
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
