Sales Associate – Baby & Children’s Retail StoreOverview
We are seeking a friendly, responsible, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is important in providing excellent customer service, assisting families with baby and children’s products, and supporting daily store operations.
The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking with parents and caregivers. Experience in retail, baby products, strollers, car seats, children’s apparel, or customer service is an asset, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide product recommendations for strollers, car seats, baby gear, children’s products, apparel, and accessories
- Demonstrate product features and explain basic usage clearly to customers
- Support customers with product comparisons and personalized suggestions
- Use appropriate upselling and add-on sales techniques while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Process POS transactions accurately, including payments, refunds, and exchanges
- Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and organized product displays
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, receiving, and organizing merchandise
- Answer customer inquiries in-store, by phone, and through other communication channels
- Help resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Support team members in achieving sales goals and maintaining a positive store environment
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and service standards
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills in English
- Mandarin, Cantonese, or other language skills are considered an asset
- Interest in baby products, children’s products, parenting products, or retail sales
- Basic math skills and ability to operate POS systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask during busy periods
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable learning product knowledge and explaining features to customers
- Weekend and holiday availability is preferred

Pay: $17.85-$21.00 per hour
