Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseperson / Laundry attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Dust, mop, sweep, and vacuum floors while ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring that all items are fresh and clean for guests.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial responsibilities is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
