About the Company
We are a growing North American supplier of premium architectural façade and opening systems, specializing in innovative solutions for high-end residential and commercial projects. Our product portfolio includes advanced façade applications, operable glazing systems, and bi-folding systems for restaurants, hospitality venues, retail spaces, and other commercial environments.
Backed by an established organization with extensive technical expertise, project experience, and a strong sales and representative network across North America, we are expanding our presence and seeking an experienced sales professional to drive continued growth.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of our Motion Facades product line across Canada and the United States, with a primary focus on Canada and the Eastern U.S.
This is a hands-on, revenue-generating role-not a purely managerial or administrative position. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building client relationships, generating specifications, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating agreements, and closing sales.
The role will focus on developing three primary sales channels:
Commercial projects in collaboration with the broader sales organization.
Direct sales to owners of high-end residential projects.
Indirect residential sales through dealers, fabricators, installers, and other channel partners.
The Sales Manager will also work closely with the company's existing sales representatives across North America to expand market reach and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Sales Ownership and Revenue Accountability
Generate, qualify, develop, and close sales opportunities across Canada and the United States.
Take full ownership of revenue performance, including lead generation, pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and deal closure.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue objectives.
Drive sales across commercial, direct residential, and dealer/channel partner markets.
Maintain a strong focus on profitable growth, pricing strategy, commercial risk management, and margin performance.
2. Business Development and Lead Generation
Identify new projects, key accounts, dealers, and strategic business opportunities.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, trade shows, construction intelligence platforms, industry events, and direct outreach.
Build relationships with architects, developers, owners, builders, designers, façade consultants, glazing contractors, dealers, and installers.
Secure product specifications early in the design phase through engagement with architects and consultants.
Develop and support a qualified dealer and partner network while remaining actively involved in closing business.
Build long-term client relationships that generate repeat and referral business.
Identify market gaps and expansion opportunities.
3. Sales Execution, Negotiation and Closing
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and project handover.
Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
Coordinate estimating, proposals, technical input, samples, mock-ups, and solution development with internal technical teams.
Deliver presentations and commercial proposals to clients and project stakeholders.
Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and value engineering initiatives while protecting margins.
Maintain momentum throughout the sales process to improve conversion rates.
Act as the primary commercial contact for key accounts until project execution.
Ensure all commercial commitments are accurately communicated to project and operations teams.
4. Territory and Market Expansion
Develop and implement a structured territory growth strategy across Canada and the Eastern United States.
Collaborate with existing representatives and sales personnel across North America to expand market coverage.
Recruit, onboard, and support dealers, representatives, and strategic partners.
Identify showroom opportunities, demonstration partners, and reference projects.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, architectural events, and dealer meetings.
Monitor competitors, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
Coordinate closely with operations and supply chain to align customer commitments with production capabilities.
5. Sales-Led Marketing and Brand Development
Increase product awareness among architects, developers, designers, contractors, dealers, and homeowners.
Lead practical sales-focused marketing initiatives including presentations, lunch-and-learn sessions, networking events, and outreach campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales tools, technical literature, case studies, and marketing materials.
Provide market feedback to strengthen product positioning and sales strategies.
Support the development of a strong portfolio of completed projects and reference installations.

Maintain flexibility to travel based on business needs.
8. Other Responsibilities
Perform additional duties consistent with a senior sales and business development role.
Contribute to broader organizational growth initiatives as required.
