Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Woman/Maintenance Technician to join our facilities maintenance team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and functionality of our manufacturing or facility environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience with various maintenance tasks. Leadership and customer service skills are highly valued to effectively oversee repairs and coordinate with other departments. This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are prioritized.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure
- Supervise or assist in supervising maintenance staff or contractors during repairs or projects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols
- Assist in facility upgrades, renovations, or modifications as required
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally
- Lead or participate in safety meetings, inspections, and training sessions to promote a culture of safety
Experience
- Experience working with industrial equipment and understanding of safety standards in manufacturing settings
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, supervise teams, or mentor junior staff is a plus
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
