Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, including meal preparation and cooking
- Assist in food handling, plating, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and equipment
- Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tables and tasks
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- Basic understanding of the food industry standards and hygiene practices
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (we do hire internationally if legally authorized) Experience level will determine wage. Strong performers make above-average seasonal income.
Pay: $15.90-$25.00 per hour
