We are currently seeking a Full-Time Light Duty Diesel Automotive Service Technician/Apprentice to join our team at Khaos Diesel. If you are an enthusiastic Automotive Service Technician or Apprentice with light duty diesel experience and a positive attitude, we would like to hear from you!
Key responsibilities for this position include (but not limited to):
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, steering and suspension repairs
- Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
- Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify repairs
- Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
- Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Key Qualifications:
- Journeyman Red Seal Automotive ticket preferred, but minimum 3rd year completion is required
- Your own tools/toolbox
- Keen attention to detail
- Passion for Customer Service
- Valid drivers licence and Driving record free of major infractions
- Love of diesel trucks and/or a desire to learn
- Confident team player
Khaos Diesel has been a locally owned and operated company for over 19 years specializing in light duty diesel performance and repair in Stony Plain. We work on all makes and models of diesel vehicles, from big to small and pride ourselves on honesty and quality work. Wages are competitive and based on experience. We are not open evenings, weekends or holidays.
