Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate to join our vibrant Shawarma Restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and previous food service or restaurant experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items and restaurant services
- Manage transactions accurately at the register, including processing payments and issuing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and dining space
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously to resolve any issues effectively
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with restaurant policies
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Knowledge of food service operations and POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeanor with a genuine interest in providing outstanding customer service
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for team success
- Experience in hotel or food service industries can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required
