We are currently accepting applications for a Deck Builder/Fencing Helper to join our team. Requirements:
- Assist the foreman in the day-to-day construction of decks, including framing, decking, and railing installation
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and composite materials to precise specifications
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Help load and unload materials, keep the job site clean and organized
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with the crew to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Perform basic layout and leveling tasks as directed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude on-site
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong work ethic may be considered)
- Comfortable using power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.)
- Ability to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
