Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Full-Time Nanny to provide attentive childcare for an 8-month-old baby girl in Chilliwack, BC. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care tailored to the needs of an 8-month-old infant
- Prepare and feed nutritious meals and snacks suitable for infants
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones, including teaching basic skills and encouraging exploration
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light cleaning related to childcare needs
- Assist with diapering, dressing, and bathing as needed
- Support the child's social and emotional development through positive interaction and caregiving
- Collaborate with parents to follow specific routines, schedules, and developmental goals
- Administer basic first aid if necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies
Experience
- Prior experience working with children, especially infants, is highly preferred
- Skills in meal preparation and cooking suitable for infants are desirable
- Background in teaching or early childhood education is beneficial
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, compassion, and professionalism
