We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Material Handler to join our team. This role involves transporting Roofing Materials. Hauling and dumping Bin trailers. Customer Service. And yard clean up
Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks and tow heavy bin trailers
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
- Move materials within the shop or job site, maintaining organization and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management by tracking deliveries and updating records accurately
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in hauling trailer operations or material handling is preferred
- Class 5 driving experience with a valid license is required. Clean drivers abstract required
- Experience in customer service roles will enhance communication effectiveness
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation, and material handling is essential
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
