Overview
We are seeking a skilled and personable Head Spa Technician to lead and deliver exceptional spa services in a luxurious and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various beauty and wellness treatments, with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring high standards of sanitation, customer service, and product knowledge. The Head Spa Technician will also play a key role in promoting retail sales and enhancing overall guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform a wide range of spa treatments including facial, waxing, and hair styling.
- Deliver exceptional guest services by understanding individual needs and customizing treatments accordingly.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the spa area to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
- Provide product demonstrations and educate guests on skincare, beauty products, and treatment benefits.
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting guests, and managing check-in/check-out processes.
- Engage in retail sales by upselling products and services to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Lead by example in maintaining professionalism, hospitality, and excellent communication skills with both guests and team members.
- Support team training initiatives to ensure all staff are knowledgeable about current treatments, products, and safety protocols.
- Contribute to creating a relaxing atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews.
Skills
- Proven experience in skincare, body waxing, and hair styling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with guests.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a spa or salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions, team collaboration, and product education.
- Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques while maintaining a guest-focused approach.
- Experience in front desk operations including appointment scheduling and guest reception.
- Demonstrated hospitality skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Capable of conducting product demos confidently to educate clients about treatment options and skincare solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or treatment needs while maintaining professionalism.
