Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hair Salon Manager to lead our team and ensure exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain a welcoming environment for clients. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the beauty industry. The Hair Salon Manager will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring sanitation standards, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily salon operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Lead, motivate, and support hairstylists and front desk staff to deliver high-quality service
- Photograph/record comprehensive client hair journeys (initial, transitional, and final stages) and develop engaging social media content
- Track client hair transformations by capturing "before," "mid-process," and "after" results to utilize for digital marketing and social media posts
- Manage appointment scheduling and client consultations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Oversee sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products and promote salon services to increase revenue
- Handle front desk duties including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing payments
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Train new staff members on salon procedures, customer service, and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
- Must be expert in social media marketing
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a salon or similar environment preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships
- Strong communication skills for effective team leadership and client interactions
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and upselling strategies
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and health regulations in a salon setting
- Ability to handle front desk operations efficiently and professionally

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
