Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest service and possess a solid understanding of food and beverage operations. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing multiple tables and guest requests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety, sanitation, and food handling
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, food preparation, and serving techniques
- Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance the dining experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
