Techtree Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our growing team and help lead growth in our Buildings Division. This is a remote working position and will require a home based working environment.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 1-4 years' experience with a focus in Structural Engineering for residential, commercial, or industrial applications
- P.Eng. registration with Canadian Engineering Association
- Knowledge and experience in the residential/commercial construction industry considered an asset
- Knowledge of SAFI, RFEM, or similar FEA package is considered an asset
- Knowledge of Alberta and National Building Codes
- Knowledge of design codes and specifications (CSA 086, CSA S16, etc.)
- Time management, scheduling, and project management skills
Job Overview:
- Responsible for completion of structural design and analysis to applicable codes and standards
- Preparation of technical reports and calculation packages as project deliverables
- Review and approve residential and commercial drawings in a timely manner
- Manage existing client relationships
- Accountability and management of project budgets and schedules
- Willingness to participate in business development to grow buildings division
- Ability to working independently with guidance from team members
The salary will be based on experience.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
