Turf Crew Member – Maintenance Enhancement
We are seeking a Turf Crew Member to join our Maintenance Enhancement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled labourer who has prior experience working in a truf-specific role. This involves the operation of lawn care equipment such as aerators, rollers, and top dressers to support turf maintenance, application of fertilizers and herbicides accurately using your field experience and knowledge of plant care, and work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate an aerator
- Field experience in the application of fertilizers and herbicides
- Demonstrate ability to operate aerator, roller and top dresser
- Good general knowledge of plant care
- Ensure that the proper equipment is safely loaded on your truck and trailer
- Interact with homeowners on site when needed
- Complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient and professional manner
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience operating as an independent technician
- Prior landscaping experience an asset
- Possess valid Landscape Exterminator License
- Valid G license with clean driver’s abstract
- Experience driving truck and trailer
- Desire to work in horticultural industry
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 kg
