We are seeking a skilled and certified Automotive Red Seal Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during repair procedures.
- Assist with assembly, installation, and testing of automotive components and systems.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including heavy lifting techniques and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience as an Automotive Red Seal Technician or equivalent certification.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Experience with welding, assembly, maintenance tasks, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Demonstrated mechanic experience with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
