We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating beautiful hairstyles, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and engaging with clients to ensure a positive experience. The Hairstylist will also have opportunities to upsell products and services, contributing to the overall success of the salon.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to client preferences
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products and additional salon services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments when necessary
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and positive client relationships
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education
Requirements
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon setting
- Ability to perform retail sales through upselling techniques that benefit both the client and the salon
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Prior experience working at the front desk or handling administrative tasks is a plus
- Must be licensed or certified as required by local regulations for hairstylists

Pay: $17.20-$47.37 per hour
