Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily site operations, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software. The Site Supervisor will play a vital role in coordinating teams, monitoring project progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to facilitate smooth workflow
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately
- Manage project budgets by tracking expenses and controlling costs effectively
- Utilize construction management software such as Buildertrend, ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for planning, documentation, and reporting
- Oversee the implementation of construction estimating processes to ensure accurate resource allocation
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings with site personnel
- Prepare reports on project status, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction management practices
- Proficiency in construction management software including Buildertrend, ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards within construction sites
- Ability to manage budgets effectively and ensure projects stay within financial constraints
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to coordinate diverse teams
- Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings is preferred
- Relevant certifications or training in construction management or related fields is a plus
