Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Installer helper to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible to install and maintain aboveground and underground petroleum storage facilities and related equipment. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality service.
Responsibilities
- Install and assemble products according to specifications and safety standards
- Conduct site inspections to assess installation requirements and prepare work areas
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation processes
- Test installed systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in petroleum installations
- License is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with power tools, basic electrical knowledge, or previous experience in construction or maintenance roles
